To provide support and education to individuals with traumatic brain injury, the Brain Injury Association of South Carolina (BIASC) is partnering with the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department (VR). VR helps people with disabilities find and keep jobs, including individuals with an acquired or traumatic brain injury. VR and the BIASC

are collaborating to teach “self-advocacy” to students with brain injuries; helping them learn to identify their needs, understand their rights, and communicate effectively.
